The second time the international ski jump complex has hosted major events – FIS Nordic Combined World Cup.
47 sportsmen from 12 countries (Norway, Austria, Slovenia, Czech Rep, Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan, Germany, Finland, France, Japan and Poland) took part in competitions.
Among the notable athletes participating in the World Cup – the silver medalist of the World Cup Akito Watabe (Japan), Mikko Kokslien (Norway), the leader of the previous two seasons Jeremy Shapui Lamy (France).
New Almaty springboard record set Norwegian Mario Seidl – the result was 142 meters.
